Sadhguru Discovers an Ancient Linga in Turkey, Rumi’s Mausoleum

During a visit to one of the most famous places in Sufism, Rumi’s Mausoleum in Konya, Turkey, Sadhguru discovers a linga in the garden outside.

Sadhguru looks at the contribution of Agastya muni, one of the Saptarishis, and explores a few of the many places in the subcontinent that Agastya spent time at.

Sadhguru, while lauding the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) for the upkeep of the ancient Sri Ramalingeswara Temple in Avani, Karnataka, points out that the essence of maintaining a temple is not in preserving the structure but in making it a living space that reverberates.

Sadhguru explains the science behind temple-building in India. In ancient times, temples were built as energy centers which reverberated with a powerful field of energy and were not intended as places of prayer.
