Volunteering at Sadhguru Sannidhi, Bengaluru is an incredible opportunity to be part of the making of a powerful center for inner transformation. Already a vibrant space with the Adiyogi, Yogeshwar Linga and the Naga, the Sannidhi is set to witness many more projects in the coming years, including Linga Bhairavi, Navagraha shrines and Teerthakunds. Compared to the three decades it took to establish the Isha Yoga Center in Coimbatore, Sadhguru has set an ambitious goal of fully establishing the Sannidhi in just three years, which will require a massive effort.

Volunteering is available free of charge. You need to meet the eligibility requirement to be able to volunteer.
It is best to stay for a minimum of three days. You can stay for longer based on your availability.
As there is a schedule that one follows during their time as volunteers, you may not be able to continue your work during volunteering.
Please express your interest in extending your stay to your volunteer coordinator.
Considering the busy schedule that volunteers follow, it is best if you can make arrangements for your children to be looked after and cared for at your home.
Yes, but it is encouraged that interactions are kept to a minimum to stay focused on one's inner growth.
Yes, they can come and meet you outside of scheduled activity times. If they are planning to stay overnight, please make sure they arrange accommodation outside the Sannidhi premises.
It is best to plan your stay in such a way that you can devote your time to staying at the Sannidhi for the specified duration.
In case of an emergency, the participant can reach out to a volunteer from the Volunteer Coordination Team and they will assist you.
Volunteers will support with various activities at the Sannidhi. This is entirely dependent on what is required at the Sannidhi at a given time.
Minors over 15 years of age can present a consent form signed by their parents when applying for volunteering.
Those aged 15 years and above and have completed the Inner Engineering program (including initiation into the Shambhavi Mahamudra Kriya) are eligible to apply.
Volunteering opportunities are open throughout the year for individuals who wish to volunteer for a dedicated amount of time.
Accommodation is provided within the Sannidhi premises. Shared dormitory-style accommodation and bathroom facilities are provided. Men and women will be given separate accommodation.
Two vegetarian meals will be provided daily. Juice or kanji will also be served in the afternoon.
Please note that the kitchen will not be able to assist with any specific dietary needs; therefore, volunteers will have to arrange for it themselves if needed.
The first meal is available at 10:00 AM and the second at 7:00 PM.
Isha Mobile Clinic will provide basic first aid and medical assistance. Details of any serious medical conditions must be informed well in advance.
Leaving out any information about one's current or prior medical condition can lead to your application being rejected.
If you need to receive medication from the clinic or require hospitalization due to unforeseen circumstances, please be aware that you will be responsible for the associated expenses. Additionally, please note that travel to the nearest hospital may take thirty minutes or longer, depending on the traffic conditions.
In addition to sufficient clothes, please bring a flashlight, towel, toiletries, comfortable footwear, rain jacket or umbrella, warm jacket or coat, and bug spray (for use during warmer months).
In keeping with the Indian clothing style which is modest, please bring clothing that covers the shoulders, midriff and knees at all times. Proper attire includes: ankle length pants for both men and women (no capris or shorts) and long shirts that cover the upper arms and thighs. Traditional Indian clothing such as kurtas, dhotis, panchakacham or pants for gents, and salwar kameez, kurtis or sarees for women are recommended. Please avoid tight clothing such as shirts and jeans, both for your own comfort and as a sign of respect for the local culture.
As you will be sharing a space with several others and luggage space is limited, please make sure to pack only what is absolutely necessary.
Based on your requirement, locker facility may be provided to make sure luggage is secure.
Due to limited bandwidth, Wi-Fi is only available for work-related purposes. Those who wish to check their email or stay in touch with their family are requested to use mobile data from their service provider.
No laundry services are provided at the Sannidhi. Provisions for manual washing and drying clothes are provided close to the stay area.
Flight: The nearest airport is the Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru, which is 40 km away and is approximately an hour-long drive. It could take longer in the evenings and weekends owing to traffic.
Train: The nearest railway station is situated in Chikkaballapura, which is 10 km from the Sannidhi.
Buses: Frequent buses are available from Majestic Bus Station, Bengaluru to Chikkaballapura.
From Chikkaballapura, buses, taxis or autorickshaws are available to reach Sadhguru Sannidhi.
